2011 Homelessness Counts Media Map

The National Alliance to End Homelessness released a new interactive map of point-in-time (PIT) counts conducted across the country in the last week of January. The 2011 Counts Media Map tracks changes in overall homelessness by using media articles and Continuum of Care (CoC) reports as they are published. The Alliance will continue to update the map as new reports are released.
The 2011 PIT counts will be the first count where both the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) and the federal strategic plan, Opening Doors, have had the opportunity to affect communities. While complete data for the 2011 and 2010 PIT counts are not yet available, the 2011 Counts Media Map is intended to provide a sense of the changing homelessness situation in communities across the country. If your community’s count is available but not listed, please email us directly to be included on the map.
